Sandy McDermott

I came to KBL in 2021 after 18 years of working in Career Services at Bradley University. To quickly get up to speed in a new career field I completed the ALS Lighting Associate certification in 2022. This advanced training along with professional experience working with the public, has helped me jump right in to assisting KBL clients and contractors in selecting lighting, fireplaces, and home accent pieces. Being a former educator, I will help you make informed decisions based on the fundamentals of appropriate sizing, function, as well as, design. Personally, I have lived nearly 30 years in the Peoria area and reside in Washington.

Debbie Brown

It’s a wonderful thing when you enjoy what you do for a living! Being in my 17th year with KBL Design Center, I can certainly make this claim. As a cabinet layout designer & consultant, what keeps it interesting is that I work with products I have a true interest in, and every single project is unique and different in scale and scope. Joe Zich

I started at KBL part time in the warehouse around 2008 then went full time working at our Discount Center in 2011. For 8 years I worked through older inventory out of that location while deepening my understanding of the business. Presently I work in both Peoria and Normal hanging new lights and filling any gaps that I can in an effort to make things run smoothly.

Jeremy Schneider

My name is Jeremy Schneider and I wear a few hats here at KBL Design Center.  I started here in 2007 as a lighting consultant.  Over the next few years I added the titles of cabinet designer, accessory buyer, and visual merchandiser.  In 2015 I was proud to accept the title of General Manager.  I have over 30 years of retail experience.  I have always had a passion for design and am so grateful to be doing what I do everyday at KBL Design Center.

Brad Wheet

I have been an employee of KBL Design Center for 22 years. My focus has been on selling lighting and fireplaces to residential building contractors and their customers. The goal of KBL is to assist our customers with product selection during their home building process, and that customer being satisfied with the finished product.

Todd Still

I have been with KBL Design Center since August of 2015.  As the lead technician of our fireplace division, I have experience with service, installation, and sales.  I am knowledgeable in all of Heat-N-Glo’s offerings.  In addition, I install our custom closet systems from MasterSuite by Closetmaid.  When I am not providing exceptional service for our guests, I enjoy fishing, spending time outdoors, and spending time with my family.

Austin

I am the freshest face of the KBL family. I graduated MTI as an HVACR technician and joined the team January 2024. I work as one of the service technicians in the fireplace department and offer help to those in the store where I can. I am an easy going guy with an amazing work ethic (not my words). My favorite thing about KBL is the environment. Working side by side with amazing men and women who upkeep the idea of a company that truly cares about the customer and what they need to complete projects in the store and outside.
